This page is less about a gallery of finished prints and more about how I actually shoot and edit – the genres I spend the most time in, the gear I reach for, and the workflow behind the guides on this site.
What I shoot
Mostly portrait and environmental-portrait work, with a recurring sideline in landscape and travel photography on personal trips. Client work skews toward small businesses and independent professionals who need a headshot or portfolio session, not large commercial productions – which is part of why the Business & Career section of this site focuses on pricing and client acquisition at that scale rather than agency-level production.
Editing approach
Raw-first: color and exposure corrections happen before any retouching, and retouching stays light – skin texture and true-to-life color over a heavily processed look. The Software & Editing Tools and AI Tools sections cover the specific tools that come up in that workflow, tested the same way they’re described there.
Selected examples
Rather than a static image grid that goes stale, the clearest examples of my approach are worked into the guides themselves – camera and lens comparisons reference real shooting scenarios, and the portrait and lighting guides in Guides & Tips are based on techniques I actually use, not just summarized from manufacturer marketing.
